"Baku rhythms in the heart of Riga" exhibition opens in Riga
An exhibition titled "Baku rhythms in the heart of Riga" opened in Riga`s Vecr?ga (Old Town) area.
The exhibition was organized by the Riga City Mayor’s Office, the Latvian Foreign Ministry and the Azerbaijani Embassy in Latvia.

Azerbaijanis residing in Latvia, diaspora representatives and locals attended the opening of the exhibition.

Addressing the opening ceremony, State Secretary of Latvian Foreign Ministry Andrejs Pildegovičs spoke about the rapid development of relations between the two countries.

Riga Vice-Mayor Andris Ameriks recalled in his speech that he visited Baku a month ago, and the city is rapidly changing and becoming more beautiful. He also underlined the importance of holding such an exhibition in terms of developing bilateral relations in the sphere of tourism.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, Director of the Administration’s Foreign Relations Department Novruz Mammadov hailed the excellent relations between the two countries and people.

“We highly appreciate this friendship. We will strive to further strengthen this friendship and cooperation,” he noted.

Then the guests viewed the exhibition.
